Because of the large volume of grant inquiries received, The Kopelman Foundation is able to provide funding for only a small percentage of qualified projects.
We will consider unsolicited one-page proposals from qualified 501(c)(3) organizations whose requests fall within the mission and criteria summarized on this site. All other proposals will not be considered for funding.
To submit a proposal for consideration, send via e-mail a one-page program synopsis. The synopsis should include a brief description of the project for which funding is being sought; features of the organization that will contribute to the likelihood of a successful undertaking; reasons why a grant from the Foundation will make a difference to the success of the project; and the outcomes that will result upon successful conclusion of the project.
Synopsis that are longer than one page -- or that are accompanied by a telephone call -- will NOT be considered.
Organizations should allow several weeks for evaluation of their synopses. The Foundation will notify applicants if it needs information beyond that provided in the one-page summary. Send supplemental materials only if requested.
